Schloss Bergheim is an important historical building in the valley of the Eder.
It was erected in 1785/86 by Johann Simon du Ry for Count Josias zu Waldeck ,
a descendant of William the Conqueror.
The park is more than 12 acres and the river Eder passes through it.

The Schloss consists of 2 buildings, the main one with 2 floors and basement.
has a total of 18,400 square feet and the smaller one 5,600 square feet
