Because it has not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the manufacturer cannot directly claim that the supplement treats any disease (including impotence). However, the advertisements for this product strongly suggest that VigRX Plus will:

Enlarge the penis
Prevent premature ejaculation
Increase sex drive.
Although the Web site for this supplement states that it is a "doctor-approved formula," none of the "doctors" that endorse the product are actual medical doctors (one is a clinical psychologist and the other is a naturopath).
